Be prepared for the cold and flu season this year! Learn how to prepare safe and effective herbal preparations that can help
(1) keep your immune system working well
(2) prevent illness after exposure to seasonal colds and flu
(3) naturally treat discomforts of common colds and flu
You will learn how to make a classic elderberry syrup, a cough soothing oxymel, fire cider, a fever relief tea, and take them home for personal use.? These remedies will feature many locally grown and wildcrafted herbs, so its a great way to learn how to localize your medicine.? You’ll leave with the recipes and confidence to make them again on your own.
This class will also include additional tips and strategies to prevent and treat colds and flu at home using herbs and other gentle remedies, with a discussion of how they may be applied to COVID.
Participants should have some basic knowledge of how to make herbal preparations like tinctures and teas (or at least be willing to review these on their own time).
This class will be held with appropriate social distancing measures in place and will be limited in size and held outdoors.
